Homework---Week of February 19-23, 2018

Teacher’s Notes:  ***We had off on Monday for President’s Day!  Hope everyone had a nice 3-day weekend.  Hope everyone enjoyed the Sweetheart Breakfast and show on Friday!  First grade if full of fun, special, wonderful memories!! 

***Don’t forget to wear your Tiger Pride T-shirt each and every Wednesday to show our school unity and spirit! 

**Thank you for supporting Pennies for Patients.  The last day was on Friday, 2/16/18.

***Next Wednesday, 2/28, is our February “Tiger Pride” reward day! 

 **Mark your calendars for these upcoming events: ****Barnes and Nobles night will be on Wednesday, March 1st, 2018 from 6 to 7:30.  Many fun activities planned.  Hope to see you there!!

***PTC is hosting a Mill Creek night at Grundy on 2/24/18.  A flyer went home last week with info and tickets must be purchased ahead of time.

 **We will continue to work on Topic 9 in math this week with comparing numbers and the concepts of greater than and less than and equal to (<, >, =).

2.   Math: worksheet

3.   Reading: Read your 100 book challenge books for 30 minutes. Write at least 1 sentence about 1 of the books you  read.

Wednesday:  E

 1.   Spelling:  Write a good, first grade sentence for each word: good, stood, & cookbook.  Study your words!

2.   Math: worksheet

3.   Reading: Read your 100 book challenge books for 30 minutes. Write at least 1 sentence about 1 of the book you  read.

Thursday:  A

 1.   Spelling:  Write ALL your words 2 times each.  Study for your spelling test tomorrow!
2. Math: worksheet
3. Reading: Read your 100 book challenge books for 30 minutes. Sign your log and practice your vocabulary.

Friday:  B   

            **Be sure to read your 100 Book Challenge every night and even on the weekends!  Read, read, read!  The more you read, the smarter you get!!!!  Be sure you log down at least 30 minutes of reading!!
